I hate how both my ankles continuously crack while I walk!!!!!! People stare at me because both my ankles make strange noises!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I discovered my long lost bonito flakes, the ones I bought while Kahlen was flirting with the Jap boy at the counter. Shall we go on a trip for more free samples, my fellow cheapskate friend??????? Oh yes and I also woke up with swollen eyes, I couldn't see in the morning, and sister came into my room to laugh at me. So I got to skip school (yay!!!!), and I completed season 3 of avatar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST NICKELODEON CARTOON EVER. Oh my oh my promos are in less than 2 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dai.
Friday night, got smashed at Chris Shaw's house. Like really, really smashed. It was unanticipated, and bad. I'm sorry for freaking everyone out :( Chris has got an awesome 3 story house which he lives alone in, and his room is the entire 3rd story, he has his own balcony and a really cute dog. Kahlen and I are gonna march over from school and barge in and reclaim our possessions.
Brother left on Saturday evening, it was a sad, sad day but at least he treated me to Haagan Dazs!!! Tour of T3, I think that terminal's pretty but redundant, pretty redundant. Shanghainese food, food from mother's motherland. Awesome ramen today with family, and then GREEN TEA ICE CREAM WITH RED BEANS FROM HAATO after (LUOER I HOPE YOU ARE READING THIS :D) Mum bought me red rock deli chips <3 and I still have some more solo!!!!

The only thing I hate more than bad food are dirty public toilets. Don't call me a brat just because I say that, I'm fine with those regular public toilets as they are relatively clean thanks to the cleaners who clean them meticulously, but I really really really hate dirty, dirty, dirty toilets! Like hello, I don't exactly want to see your piss/menstrual blood/poo/dirty shoeprints all over the toilet bowl, or on the floor. "Dirty shoeprints?!?!?!" you say? Yes. I hate it when previous toilet users inconsiderately step on the toilet seat to take a piss. Hello, it's called a toilet SEAT for a reason, you're supposed to SIT on it, and if you're so inclined to squatting while having a wee, then go use the squatting toilets!!! "But what if that washroom doesn't have squatting toilets?!?!?!" Well then, lower your backside until it touches the toilet bowl, that is called sitting on it. Poo. Poo, poo, poo. Don't people check to see if they've flushed away the remnants of their previous meal? I certainly do. I don't want people getting disgusted from seeing my waste floating around, so I usually flush like 3 times. It's just disgusting, seeing things like that. As for pee/menstrual blood on toilet bowls, can't the lay-deezz out there just wipe it off the toilet bowl? Yea I know, sometimes it just happens to drip out, it happens to me too, but for goodness sake wipe it away, for the sake of the people who have to clean the toilets, and for other users. It's not exactly pleasant to have to clean away someone else's bodily excretions. Ewww. Poop in the toilet bowl, pee and menstrual blood on the toilet seat/bowls, those are still forgivable, maybe the flush isn't strong enough, maybe Miss X didn't see the mess she left behind, but omg, SHOEPRINTS ON TOILET SEATS, that is totally unforgivable, and I just don't understand why, why shoeprints? WHY? I think these people need to be condemned to toilet cleaning hell.

Yes I am bored, but I really, really, really do detest dirty toilets.

On the other hand, Botanic Gardens twice with Phil, we fed mega fish and mega turtles and for a moment we were (on the brink of) cool. We baked cupcakes too! For our first attempt, what we made was commendable hahaha :) Just a week or so back he cooked lunch for me as well, and it was fantastic for someone who claims he cant cook. Grilled salmon :) During the holidays we headed down to Cafe Del Mar, expecting a quiet afternoon/evening of relaxation, only to have our plans thwarted by triplets, aged 8. Little rascals, they called Phil a gangster and they asked me why I was only wearing my underwear!!! They even attempted to pull my bikini top down, and kept splashing water at us. Oh well, kids will be kids. But then, these kids were bordering on evil. E.V.I.L, Every Villian Is Lemons. I am tired, goodnight

Point of View

I came across a certain LJ, and wanted to kill myself reading it. Terrible, but true. Let us all sympathize for the person in question. Tear. And no, I did not comment on the above mentioned person's LJ.

Hi, I think you shouldn't list charcoal as one of your ingredients because it clearly isn't (you are obviously not going to eat it), rather, you should mention it under the heading "other items". Also, another suggestion would be to list charcoal as an optional item, as some people might not be able to obtain or perhaps cook over a charcoal flame. Though the taste of the final product might be slightly altered, other changes can be made to the recipe itself to maximize the satisfaction you get from taste.
I also think the grammer used in your GPP can be greatly improved, for example, it is charcoal not "charcoals". There is no plural for charcoal. From what I read in your GPP (when it was up), it was largely incoherent, and adding on the fact that the grammar wasn't at it's best, it made your entire report more difficult to understand. Another factor which added to the entire mess that is your GPP was the use of bombastic words. Wrong tense, wrong use of the word, wrong form, it just did not work to your advantage. You would be much better off using slightly less fancy words to prove your point.
You don't have to take these points into consideration but I guess someone's opinion could always bring about an improvement, be it a negative viewpoint or not.

I tried, I really tried to be as polite as I could. Oh no, I think people are going to flame my LJ because they are cool. Yay them, gigglez. Unfortunately they fail to realize that everyone's entitled to his/her own opinion. Hoorah!

On a brighter side, I think I messed up my entire GP Paper 2 :( My hopes of somewhat scoring well enough have been dashed.

Oh yes, and could someone please, please, please tell me what French Shikang is?

WHILE YOU CAN

Dance today was demanding, and because I'm still sick, I could hardly focus. The coffee man puts wayyyyy too much sugar in the coffee in school. It's strange. Dance is demoralizing. After dance, Joy, Luoer and I headed down to town, with initial plans of eating yoghurt, only to have our plans thwarted by sudden cravings for pastries and soup. We satisfied our evil, evil, calorie filled cravings, and happy Luoer wanted to buy some candy, where she took an hour (more or less) to choose chocolate, but she bought these sour plum sweets in the end -.- Luoer, oh Luoer, only you are capable of being such an aunty, but I do still love you anyway. Joy taught me how to moonwalk!!! It was tres fun, though we made ourselves look like absolute idiots in Cold Storage. Joy, oh Joy, it's no wonder you're a subset of me.

On Monday, Kahlen, Luoer and I went to Thompson Plaza to satisfy our cravings (yes, we always get cravings). They bought durians, enough said.

Ooohhh, Luoer's birthday was really strange (in a good way). We were trying to hard to stick candles into ice cream that was melting, Luoer walked over to us too soon because we wanted to surprise her but no! Jon was incompetent, Jon did not keep her away! Bad Jon, tsk. We were all late for class, because we lost ourselves in our little period of happiness, laughing/giggling/screaming etc etc.

I love my girly girls much <3

A Necessary Evil?

I've abandoned my little Journal for way too long. It's becoming a chore, this blogging thing thus I only do so when I am particularly bored, or when I'm feeling reflective. And such. Unfortunately, I am only feeling bored so this post is going to be rather mindless and incoherent. I would like to stop typing in proper English, but then I'll start ranting, and everyone knows ranting is evil. My brother moved to Melbourne about a week ago, and 2 days before he left he got me a prosumer, Nikon P5100. After I fiddle with the manual functions enough and learn how to set the correct shutter speed/aperture with various lightings etc, I will be getting myself a SLR. Still a noob, but working my way up. School has been a chore, wait, when is it not? Exams are coming exams are coming, time for me to buck up and stop slacking. Dance has been good, I guess.

Yes and I found out from someone that his friend who likes him apparently copies me because this someone likes me! I mean, I'm flattered that someone would like to be similar to me (in terms of dressing), but wanting to do things just because I do them is completely over the top. And this isn't even a form of hero-worshipping, it's more like she wanting to be like me in hopes of this someone liking her instead and it scares me! It's like identity theft, just not as serious. I mean, I do things and dress the way I do because it's me, just like everyone else does, and if someone goes to the point of copying me, it kinda makes me wonder why this person wouldn't rather be her own person. And it's not as if I'm terribly special, which makes it even scarier. I'm not sure how true all this is, but it still does scare me quite a bit. I shan't say any names, in case this above mentioned anonymous person reads my journal.

Apart from that, I have homework due tomorrow, I shall get started on it right now. If I don't procrastinate, that is.

Hmm, dance on Friday was pretty fun we were "American Bimbos" for a day, and we had to uh kinda strut our stuff down the dance studio, and I think that was quite a failure (for me, at least). It was quite difficult actually, we had to walk on the balls of our feet and stick our butts and chests out. The boys were friggin cute doing that hahahaha. And then we were zombies, and Jon, oh dear Jon, everyone laughed at him anyway but it is okay because he can do the Rhumba. Yay you Jon!!!!! Natty-poo (x3) shaved the side of his head again, that rebel. My word, if you get caught Nat.... (sniggers heh heh heh). Oh yes good news during dance I kinda yanked on my shoulder and I think I might have twisted it because it hurts real bad when I lift my left arm! Yes, my left shoulder. Tennis yesterday was gay, it was some Games Day and it was <strike>drizzling</strike> raining!!!!! So, in true Joyce fashion, I stood under an umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh. And I ended up teaching them young Padawans about life hahahaha. Teach them well, I will.

Ugh this is like a digression from what I'm actually supposed to be doing, which is study, because I have tests coming up. Yay me. Stop procrastinating Joyce...

In true Meishan nature (I still love you to bits Meishan!!!!),
SREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

Hmm Bakerzin's warm chocolate cake and linguine vongole, anyone? Absolute love on their part, like nirvana for the tastebuds, that chocolate cake is. Al Dente's mushroom soup and woodfire pizzas are awesome!!!! And so are the salads they serve there (mmmmmmmmmm rocket with balsamic vinegar & olive oil love much)!!! Much better than Pepperoni, I might say, but I still like going to Pepperoni instead because they let your draw on the table!!! Ho ho ho cheap thrills for the young one. I had the most fun on Thursday night because Mumsy bought me a single pomegranate!!!! Or however you spell it. It is tres delicieux, to me they were wonderfully tangy and sweet. Yes she bought it for me because I picked one up at the supermarket and stupidly gawked at it because I've never seen one before, and Mumsy, she had to kill the curiosity that was slowly building up within me and bought me one. Yay me!!!

Hmm I've been thinking of saving up and getting myself a DSLR, I have an SLR (okay actually my brother does) but since it uses film I'm too scared to use it because I'm still a noob. I've been playing around with my pathetic digital compact camera for ages now, and I'm wondering if I should start off with a prosumer , or just get a second hand DSLR in good condition to start off with? Any suggestions, anyone? I just want to play around with the functions first, before setting my sights on slightly more "advanced" cameras. Also I know I have a tendency to get bored of things real quick, and that's one of the reasons why I don't want to start on anything too pricey just yet. Help, anyone?

Too much procrastinating, too little time. Once again I say to myself, omfg Joyce can you stop playing a fool and study instead of resting on your laurels all day long?!?!?!?! I disappoint myself constantly, it doesn't feel as foreign as it should. I've done nothing productive this holiday, and I am so fucking screwed for that. On the other hand, dance today was awesome. Failed freestyling, numerous failed attempts at being sexy(!!!!), and obviously screwing up the choreography over and over again, but that was what made it fun. Hmm, that's one thing in my life I actually do look forward to. I might suck at it but boy, do I love dance. Step Up 2 was one lousy, boring, stupid movie. What a cliched storyline. My mom died I hate school my friends hate me I'm gonna be a big time loser 4 lyfe if I don't prove myself at the streets boohooooo boooohooooooooooooooooooooo. Ah cut it with that crap, I only watched it because the dancers were dope, but the lead actress didn't dance as well as I expected her to. Cool mint ftw!!!!!! Okay now back to watching wrestling with my brother who is moving to Melbourne next month and I don't want that because my bro is cool and I'll miss him like crazy ughhhhhhhhhhhhh h8!

ALL ABOARD THE TERROR EXPRESS

Today as Mother dearest dropped me off at school, I saw, hmm, about a million military vehicles, gurkhas and more army personnel, and I was seriously wondering what the hell they were doing there, the vehicles were even parked inside our school compound. Turns out Mr Terrorist from the detention center across the expressway (which I, honestly, never knew existed) escaped!!!! Throngs of army men here, there, everywhere, to be frank it did scare me a little. Throughout the entire day, all everyone could talk about was Jemaah Islamiyah leaderofsingaporebranch/member/whatever Mas Selamat Kastari, so here are some theories given by the wonderful students of Catholic Junior College hahaha.

#1 (given by Joy)
"I don't think he actually has a limp, he PRETENDED to have a limp so that when he escaped he could walk normally and no one would recognize him! I also think he shaved off his beard, it's the most obvious thing to do, and he probably bleached his face white like Michael Jackson (hahahaha)."

#2 (given by Johnny)
"Aiyahhhhh it was done by an insider la he couldn't have escaped on his own, it was in broad daylight! He probably walked out to the bus stop, asked to borrow 90cents and took a bus off. I think he's in Indonesia now."

#3 (given by stupid me)
"Omg this is like a real life Prison Break!!!"
yes, sadly that was all I could say, poor me, please shed a tear.
-

Okay, and me being my usual ignorant, stupid, immature and naive self, I came up with things we poor, helpless, unarmed students can do to protect ourselves, if we come into contact with Mr Terrorist.

#1) If we see him in school, by any means, get a bowl of Ba Chor Mee, ask for extra Ba and fried lard, and throw it at him.
(well my theory behind this is that if he's a really strong believer in the teachings of Islam, he would definitely not want to commit a sin by coming into contact with pork! We could subdue him with bowls of noodles, yum.)

#2) Throw your lectures notes at him, you could throw your GC too since it's so bulky and heavy and then ask for government compensation on the grounds that you were defending your country against a wanted man (hahahaha since the damn calculators are so expensiveeee).

#3) Scream. And then run.
-

And now being the responsible person our country has made me out to be,

HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MAN??!?!?!?!?!?!?!
